Went to go see Unknown and I am Number Four with the husband. I don’t know why we saw 2 movies back to back, don’t have the energy to do that anymore. Unknown was my choice and I am Number Four was my husband’s. Guess which was better? lol 

So Unknown, somewhat slow, but I thought it was alright. 

and I am Number Four was just bad. I knew it would be, especially when I found out the girl from Glee is in it. Her lack of acting skills made me sure the movie would bomb. As one review put it - it was Twilight with aliens….boring.

Got home at 11:30 and went straight to bed. Husband better not want to see 2 movies in the same night, not doing it again.

I finally watched Blue Valentine over the weekend. Here’s the thing, I liked it - but not completely blown away by it. I absolutely loved Ryan Gosling in the movie. If anything, I preferred his character to Michelle Williams. I just didn’t get her character, especially during the scenes where he acts all sweet with her, and attempting to make things work - and she gives no response. Would someone in real life be that cold? 

I get the whole modern approach to the movie. How love just turns bitter, without there having to be a solid reason why - yes, sometimes people just fall out of love- but they didn’t even really seem to be head over heels for each other in the first place. So all in all it was just a mediocre love story between a couple, and things don’t work out - yeah that basically summed it up.
